FINALLY got all those sketches for my project done and took some time to draw my lovely criime aaaaa sfldjnd I am my oc's biggest fangirl
I guess we all are our oc's biggest fans though
Does my uploading of flat colored/simpler works bother you guys or ?? Id like to know cause I feel like I'm being lazy but most of the things I like tend to be simpler haha But there will be some more detailed normal stuff soon i promise <3
I kinda think you shouldn't worry about it too much, :3 You should do what you like, and post what you like...if it's simple flats, then that's what it is! It's your art that you're posting, so you should do things the way you want to, and share whatever you feel like. <3 Art is a form of expression, so, do whatever works best for you and everyone will enjoy it!
Ahhh thanks for the lovely comment! It's not as much as it bothers me that people wont like simpler things but rather that I feel like my gallery is becoming really unconsistent with what I upload, you know? Maybe it's just me but im like "aiyyyyy why is this such a mess" haha Thanks though, I think I will just set on reorganizing my gallery rather than limiting what I upload ~ 3: <3
Ah I see...personally though, I think it's good to have a diverse gallery, and if you like branching out to different styles and whatever else, that's your right and it's totally cool. x3 I'm sure everyone will enjoy whatever you do anyways. <3
Ideally, if I had the time I would go way more detailed with my coloring often - unfortunately my free time is pretty short atm. However I think there are moments for all types of depth of coloring, and I do believe that had I done it that way, the result wouldnt have looked as clean as I wanted it to be.
There will be more of those though, once I have time~!
its a lovely pic but i was thinking the exact same thing. nothing wrong with critiquing, especially at stuff like anatomy that everyone can mess up on every once in a while. artists should value all critique, especially if it makes sense! good for you (y)
I didn't want to be mean, just wrote what I think, I may not be right too, nevermind. I should probably write about good sides of the drawings too, I know. I love the composition, pose and colors everything works perfect, I just reckon, that her waist is a bit too wide and it looks weird, what can I say more?
And how can you filter good and bad criticism, when I wrote just one sentence? and what bad criticism is anyway? As for me it's when someone just say "wow your drawing is so ugly, you suck, better stop drawing at all".
To me bad critisism is like... not about saying how to fix it and not actually making any helpful comment. And when the comment tends to lean towards a critique on the appearance more than the drawing, which is how you phrased it, it is not helpful either. Imo dishing out some good points to then point out the bad points is equally useless if you do not actually provide any sort of help as to why something is wrong or why it should be changed.
I dont mind critique as long as the person critiquing actually knows how to critique, and unfortunatley I would not even consider your comment to be close to critique. It remains just an unhelpful comment. God speed in your learning of how to critique!
